Black Dust Mambo by Adrian Phoenix

“You... what was that word you just used? Apologize? First 'please' and now 'apologize'? I think I need to sit down.”

I started this book for a challenge I am doing over at Goodreads. I just didn't like it and I don't know why. There was just something about it I didn't like. I didn't really care for the characters. I wouldn't say I hated them. I will read  Adrian Phoenix other series.

Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey

Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey
This was a very fun and cute read. It started off in the ER as Nicki Styx dies but the hot doctor Joe Bascombe saves her.  After that Nicki starts to see dead people or should I say ghost. They need her help moving on. One of Nicki's friend dies and he ghost comes back but not in the good way. Her friend is not the same. I liked Garey writing and how she wrote her character. To me they were very believable and I could see myself being friends with them. I got this book from the library but this is a series I am going to have to go out and buy. I am so glad I got the 2nd book from the library when I get this one. I am about to start that one here soon. I gave this book 5 or 5 stars

Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
“Caring was dangerous. Caring hurt"
I really don't know about this book. I liked it ok but I didn't love it. I do like Barnes   a lot better. I don't have a lot to say about this book. I started off really good but it ended going too slow. It dragged a lot.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Cinder by Marissa Meyer
“Even in the Future the Story Begins with Once Upon a Time.”
One of my favorite takes on Cinderella. The main character Cinder is a cyborg and a really good mechanic. Her life gets a little no a lot tangled with Prince Kai. When he was her to fix his Android for him. And that day her stepsister gets sick and her step-mom blames Cinder.

“She was a cyborg, and she would never go to a ball.”
We start to see more about Cinder's past about in the middle of the book. And how it impacts the now.

I gave this book 5 stars out of 5.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I read this book in two days that is how much I loved it. It was a good pace to me, it wasn't to fast or slow.  I liked the story line and the characters. They all worked good together and fit with the story line. Alina was a great heroin and ended being a awesome kick ass heroin. As for Mal I hated him in the beginning but in the end he redeemed himself. I don't know what to think of The Darkling. I still have mixed feels about him. A part of me wants him to be good but the other parts loves him as a bad guy.  I liked Bardugo writing style.
“I don't care if you danced naked on the roof of the Little Palace with him. I love you, Alina, even the part of you that loved him.”
I can't wait to get my hands on the next in this series. I already have  by   with  short story by . That I can't wait to read.

“I'm sorry it took me so long to see you, Alina. But I see you now.”
I gave this book 5 stars out of 5. This is one of the books I could read over and over again. And still find new stuff I like no love about it.

I'm going to do better

I haven't been being a good book reviewer but I am going to start being better. Starting this year.

The Dark Ones by Rachel Van Dyken (The Dark Ones Saga #1) I will start off and say I loved her take on the supernatural creatures but I ...
